The International Association
of Security Awareness Professionals (IASAP) is seeking a part-time, work from
home contractor to serve as part of a team of IASAP Coordinators. Duties and
skills for this position include Meeting Facilitation, Sales & Marketing,
and Administration. The coordinator will engage with board members and other
customers.
Qualifications:
·
At least three
years of experience in the Information Security Awareness Industry
·
Exceptional
written and oral communications skills, professionalism, and maturity to
interact with internal and external parties
·
Strong meeting
facilitation, public speaking, and event planning skills
·
Attention to
detail and strong sense of ownership, superior organizational skills with the
ability to act independently, proactively and responsibly, and the capacity to
juggle multiple tasks
·
Ability to create
and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective members
·
Demonstrated
skill in negotiating and closing on critical membership sales
·
Ability to keep
others informed on workload, timeline, and resources needed to accomplish tasks
·
Ability to use
Microsoft Office applications and adapt to other technologies
·
Sales and social
media capabilities
·
Ability to travel
a maximum of 5%
Meeting Facilitation
Candidates for this position
will demonstrate strong skills in the area of Meeting Facilitation.
Responsibilities include:
·
Coordinating all
aspects of in person meetings, including meeting host selection, meeting
preparation, and post meeting activities
·
Working with host
company to coordinate logistics and set up
·
Developing
program/content
·
Attending up to
three in-person meetings per year
·
Leading
discussions
Sales &
Marketing
Candidates for this position
will demonstrate strong skills in the area of Sales and Marketing.
Responsibilities include:
·
Representing the
association
·
Understanding
competitors in the industry
·
Prospecting and
cold calling
·
Creating and
maintaining a social media presence
·
Maintaining/building
vendor relationships
·
Develop online marketing
strategies
Administration
Candidates for this position
will demonstrate strong skills in the area of Administration.
Membership Development duties include:
·
Administrating all
aspects of the on boarding process
·
Organizing IASAP
Instant polls
·
Administrating,
organizing, and facilitating webinars and meet ups
Administration of IASAP
Business duties include:
·
Maintaining
information for IASAP website and internal share site
·
Performing
Executive Board meeting administration
·
Maintaining
memberships sales/renewals
·
Assisting the
nominating committee with elections
Compensation will be
commensurate with proven experience and aligned with the non-profit sector.
IASAP is a fee-based,
non-profit association comprised of information security awareness
professionals from 40+ member corporations, the majority of which are Fortune
500. Members engage in a variety of activities throughout the year including
in-person meetings, webinars, teleconferences, polls and surveys, and a private
